Silvio Rodriguez

Silvio Rodriguez is the heavy-hitting heartbeat of Out of the Ashes. Silvio's journey started in high school, where progressive rock's most inventive drummers first grabbed his attention. From there, he dug deeper, studying world-class studio musicians like Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dennis Chambers, Steve Gadd, and Steve Smith. Bands like Rush, Journey, and Genesis — along with countless other progressive rock visionaries — shaped his ear and sharpened his chops.  Silvio was introduced to Out of the Ashes through a good friend, and it was a natural fit. He stepped into the rhythm section and quickly became a driving force in the band's sound, pushing the music forward and keeping the grooves locked tight.  His mission? To propel Out of the Ashes to a level of excellence that stands out in today's modern era that is rare and impossible to ignore. Above all, he's here to play for the fans and have a blast behind the drums every single time.
